We made a visit to the Israel Museum in Jerusalem over the holiday! It has been a while since I have been there and we had such a wonderful time. From ancient mummies to the present day. I particularly wanted to visit this new exhibition 'No Place Like Home'.
"An experimental exhibition, No Place Like Home brings objects-turned-artworks into a quasi-home within the Museum, exploring the question of what happens if we restore a transformed object to its "natural" place within a mock home."
They already had me at the word home as it really connects to my own work so much. But there were so many layers here. I loved how it was designed as if it were a floor plan in an architectural drawing. Above are some of my favourite pieces. I highly recommend a visit.
